Fodder Beet for Sale

Spilman farming grow approximately 100 acres of fodder beet every year.
We grow several different varieties, with different characteristics.
All the beet is grown on good land and is therefore clean. It also goes over a manned cleaner loader before being transported, ensuring all stones are removed.
We currently supply a number of dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the North of England (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Northumberland, Cumbria, Cheshire and Scotland and the Scottish Borders)
If you would like to know of the benefits of fodder beet we have lots of other farmers you can contact to discuss how and why they use it.

Fodder beet is high in energy and sugar.
Fodder beet and carrots are the only feeds that supply a reasonable quantity of sugar other than grass (which has a variable level but approx 20%) so as a supplement to stored forage, fodder beet is excellent.
Fodder beet is very palatable, less variable and stimulates appetite.
